Smallville: the Superman costume!

Via iFanboy: With a look that is very reminiscent of Superman's post-death and rebirth black and silver costume, it looks like the producers found a way around the "no flights, no tights" edict.

Black shirt, silver logo, and long, black coat. Interesting.

It's like everyone's channeling Batman in Smallville! I love that they try so hard, what with the fanservice and Ollie. He's snarky and mean and shirtless often and has nice toys and is ohsoinlove with Clark that even Ollie's pilot calls them a couple in an episode. It's not quite World's Finest, and poor Ollie's merely a substitute...

Many times while watching that show, I am convinced that Bruce simply stole Ollie's identity and dyed his hair to spy on the weird going ons in Smallville as part of his "wandering" period (Ha, Begins~! Why hang out with Ra's when you could hang out in Smallville!) and that the Real Ollie is still on his island and going to be quite pissed when he comes back and finds out that Wayne stole his name. And then Ollie's going to steal the Green Arrow identity to get even.

Haha, that would be an awesome episode! I can't wait for the Green Arrow vs Green Arrow showdown if that ever happens. Then Bruce would win, all smug-like, and say he did it to test the Justice League -- none of whom realised they had the wrong guy the entire time. Aw, bless.
