As [personal profile] parlance noted, it's National Novel Editing Month. Bloody hell. I'd given up on that ages ago. There's nothing like re-reading your hastily written work and cringing at every ill-thought sentence. And that's why I'm watching Smallville. If I can't bear from reading my own crap, I can watch someone else's crap and mock it. Heh.

Ah Smallville. I miss your slashiness. Instead you're stuffed to the brim with angst and wtf moments. Kryptonite in Stride chewing gum, whaa--?

Talk about product placement, yeesh!  The show's holding a contest to make 'your own DC comic' for a chance to win an all expense trip to San Diego Comicon. The way it works is through a voting process to choose the next scene in a digital comic, twice a week. Whichever scene wins the highest amount of votes is then added to the comic. Oh and you win a year's supply of Stride gum.

I thought it was bad when the show was backed by Toyota. There was a digital comic of Chloe in her Yaris, and she frequently mentions it in the show. Seriously, enough with the product name dropping. I've got a Yaris too, and wouldn't constantly drop it in my conversations. How stilted and weird would that sound in real life? BTW Chloe's Yaris is a hatchback, mine's a sedan. Sedan people are cooler!

I am editing and so should you! March is as good a month as any, I suppose, although it is so crazy chaotic here that the process seems to be taking forevar. Well, if you aren't editing, write something new; that's my motto!

*grins* I hear, I hear! I'm starting something new to go with Script Frenzy. Maybe a change of format will lead to a more creative writing session. Good luck!
