I'd always wondered why Goodwill has such a high turnover rate (I was going to my local one almost every other weekend, so I noticed), and I read up about them to make sure they weren't some sort of horrible employer. Turns out they give a lot of entry level positions to people who need them for resume builders, and THAT'S why they have high turnover. They're basically employing a lot of people other companies would probably pass on.

Goodwill Industries International is one of the world’s largest nonprofit providers of education, training, and career services for people with disadvantages, such as welfare dependency, homelessness, and lack of education or work experience, as well as those with physical, mental and emotional disabilities.
I thought that was pretty cool -- I feel pretty good about giving them money. And WEAVE is definitely a slam dunk. They're just awesome. :)
