News: It's the Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi show!

You guys I am busting my gut out here, it is so freakin' funny. Via the BBC:

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has described himself as the most persecuted person "in the entire history of the world".

Mr Berlusconi also said he was "the best prime minister we can find today".

In an impassioned statement, he then mistakenly told reporters he had spent millions of euros on "judges", before correcting himself to say "lawyers".

the most persecuted person in the entire history of the world.

BRB LOLING FOREVER!

oooooomg

I want to make a long list of examples to the contrary, but I think I'll spare myself. XD

Oh man. Oh man. Berlusconi is an endless source of LOL. I'll be almost sad to see him gone, except not at all.

HAHAHA, your comment is truth! I'm still snickering over him paying judges lawyers millions of Euros.

He totally brings me joy with his ebullience, but then I remember how much power he has to actively hurt people, and that kills it for me. But if he weren't in power I'd pay for fanfic about him.

He's very much like Bush in that aspect. We can snigger at the gaffes all we want, doesn't change the fact that they're both heads of state whose actions and words matter. And as with Bush, I can't believe with all the crap that's done it's still not enough to impeach Berlusconi!

Oh god, just had the thought of Berlusconi writing his own fanfic. It'd pretty much echo reality and be about him and escorts and other European politicians joining in for fun D:

I did get a chuckle when I saw this earlier. I know in these parts we consider Brown to be a bit of a buffoon but he has absolutely nothing on Berlusconi. Bloody hell.

*nods* Ah politics, why so fickle? It seems like only yesterday Gordon Brown was trying to have a 'hard' image -- remember when he had his teeth pulled without anaesthesia so he could give a speech later that day without slurring? He does try, but it's tough without charisma like the sort Berlusconi has.
