"I love you like a brother, Clark.'

I sniggered so loudly the dog next door whined. As I've said before, Smallville hurts my brain. Luckily, Superman II is on so's I can wash the WTF-ness of that show away. *sigh* Is there anything as wondrous as Margot Kidder's Lois Lane? Christopher Reeve will always be my Superman :D

BTW, life is kicking me down so I'm going to disappear for a while. Everyone have a good weekend!

Is Superman II the one with the escaped Kryptonian criminals? Because if so, that's my favorite Superman movie of all time, too. :)

Indeed it is! As a kid I was very impressed there was a female version of Superman who kicked ass. Her being a baddie was a definite plus :D

That movie scared the SHIT out of me when I was a kid! One of the criminals killed that kid, then Superman loses his powers and gets beaten up in that diner...brrr! Very effective. @_@

The diner thing really upset me as kid (the scene's coming up in a few minutes)! How could anyone be so MEAN to anyone? But when Clark goes back to the diner to punch that bully's lights out unnerved me just as much. Superman isn't supposed to react like that, right?

Well...I always figured he just sort of tapped the guy. He was just teaching him a lesson, after all. Superman would never intentionally KILL anyone. But I did think that jerk deserved an ass kicking. :P
