You should! Takes me a while to save up money for the trip, but it's well worth it. The most expensive bit is the hotel but pool in money with a bunch of other people for a place a bit out of the way, get a reliable car, and you're set :D

It's only 2 of us for the first three days. I'm from Los Angeles, my friend's flying in from Oakville. Then a few friends who weren't able to secure a place to stay for Saturday (about three more) will be joining us. We'll be spending so much time at the con, I really couldn't justify spending $350 a night for a room nearby. That's insane compared to our $89 a night hotel about 8 miles away.
