It's a bad habit of mine, spending my workdays glued to
ontd_political. The comm's even responsible for my current work computer's desktop wallpaper:

Unlike my mother, I'm not a Hillary fan, and was disappointed on what happened during the primaries. After last night's Nightline segment however, I seriously found the two to be so gosh darn adorable together I could, I dunno, think better of her intentions? In my eyes, there was an honest connection. As to whether it'll last... hush :P
ladypolitik has more excellent macros in this thread. Check out the FIERCE one, that's on my second work comp. It brings to mind, 'to the moon, Alice!'

Date: 2008-10-22 01:10 pm (UTC)I was rooting for Barack in the primaries, but I gotta say Hillary's been a real trooper after her loss--cheering him on, supporting him, basically being all-around graceful and classy. She's really boosted my opinion of her.

Date: 2008-10-24 03:46 am (UTC)It took a while for her to acknowledge that she lost, but it was understandable. She was so close. Her speech at the DNC though went above and beyond merely endorsing Obama; it moved me to tears to hear her describe the American dream. Like you said, she's certainly improved opinions :D
