stinglikeabee: classic denny colt (aw no)

Okay, so this will be my last SDCC ever (a tad dramatic, maybe) and I haven't even figured out what I'm going to wear. Or, y'know, cosplay as.

How could I possibly top last year's Hannah Dundee (Cadillacs & Dinosaurs)? Who else would I want to trade my civvies in for? I mean sure, I joked about dressing up as the Baroness with a friend who was supposed to go as Deadpool -- but she changed her mind and is going as Harley and I dyed my hair blondish-brown.

Any ideas? Keep in mind that I will have only 6 weeks to get my flabby ass in shape and have blondish-brown hair and can't sew/make a costume to save a life.

PRETTY PLEASE?

Supergirl is an easy costume. You need a Superman shirt and a red skirt. Well, maybe some red boots as well.

After that costumes get more complicated or naked.

Hmm... Supergirl is a pretty easy costume. And red boots aren't that hard to find in WeHo. I know I shouldn't even be choosy at this point, but Supertorso *whines*

I don't think anyone would appreciate nekkid me, but in terms of complicated... I wonder if I can pull off Renee Montoya's new look. I've got most everything save for the fuck-me shoes and short hair.

You can always go for the classic look.

I thought Montoya wore sneakers and the hair... well, you can always just tie it up.

The mask is going to be hard to do. Then again, you can always get a guide dog and dress it up like Rex the Wonderdog, Ace the bathound or Krypto. I don't know how to stop you from suffocating, though

New Question design (http://media.photobucket.com/image/new%20renee%20montoya/NerderyBlog/0003aa6c.jpg). Doesn't look like sneakers, though. Oh, I'd forgotten about that mask. I guess walking around with a stocking on my head isn't going to cut it. Argh, decisions, decisions!

That's the kindest thing anyone's said to me. Why, just last night my mother was saying the opposite because I made fun of her stories :)

Those look like men's shoes.

Another easy to make costume is Jubilee's. It's just a yellow raincoat and some yellow dish washing gloves. You can probably get away with not having the huge tinted shades, but even those might be easy to find.

Mayhap new skool Catwoman? With the exception of the goggles, the rest shouldn't be too hard to haul out of a closet. Plus, shit-kicking boots are shit-kicking!

Also, for some reason this cracks me up: http://www.80stees.com/products/Ladies-Sexy-Robin-Costume.asp It's so shiny! And wrongwrongwrong!

Oh, I leave Catwoman to the professionals (http://pics.livejournal.com/stinglikeabee/pic/000942rr). But you're right, the boots are AWESOME. Must incorporate those somehow...

OMG I remember that costume! A bunch of us were bitching about how sexist and FUGLY it was, until I admitted I wouldn't mind slutting it up and wearing it for Halloween. Good times, good times :D
