SDCC '09: Smallville

I was locked out of this panel in the morning, and was a little envious when I heard that the cast appeared. It was actually Tom Welling's first time at Comic-Con. *shakes fist* Damn queues.

What do we know about the upcoming season?
1) KNEEL BEFORE ZOD
2) John Corben (Metallo) will appear
3) Clark's costume has an 'S'
4) More Clark/Lois (yay!)
5) Geoff Johns will be writing a JSA episode

OMG OMG OMG OMG! PLEASE HAVE WILDCAT. OMG.

There were 2 separate JSA teams at sdcc that I was able to take pictures of, and neither of those teams had a Wildcat. Alan Scott/Green Arrow and Jay Garrick/the Flash, yes. Ted Grant, no. Is it that difficult to make a Wildcat costume? Shit, maybe I should go as Wildcat II next year.

Not sure what I think of Zod being back, but yay for L/C and yaaaay for JSA. (I am still stupidly holding my breath for Bruce Wayne... Yes, I'm an idiot.)

The inclusion of JSA makes me swoon (OMG CROTCHETY WILDCAT IN REAL LIFE! MY MIND WILL BE BLOWN!). And I totally echo the call for Bruce Wayen. Even if they show a silhouette or Bruce's back, I think that'd be enough for me.

Oh, heck, I'd go for just a quick, passing mention of some vigilante in Gotham... Or, you know...Bruce Wayne could make the headlines, too... there's like a million and a half ways to acknowledge his existence without showing his face... it'd be easy, really... *sighs*
