Bad News: Third Time's The Charm

Oh HAHAHAH.

Yeah, this is beginning to be a Spring annual event. I got into yet another car accident, absolutely not my fault. This time a lady with a knee problem drove into my side, claiming her cane rolled under the gas pedal and she wasn't looking when her car swerved into my lane. Yay.

She tried to get me to not call the insurance, which I didn't. I mean, not right now. I'm about to drive to the body shop for an estimate and call the insurance there. Shit. Just shit. Here's hoping said lady doesn't try to blame me for her knee problem or whatever.

*sigh* My back hurts.

I hope the estimate won't be too costly. Either way, I'm glad you'll report it. Also, it would be tough for her to blame you since it was a side hit. Make sure you write down everything you can remember so you can accurately tell the insurance agent how it happened.

Thanks for the tips! I was able to set aside some time and write down all I could remember, but it took a while -- I was still shook up. The estimate place was closed today, and I'll be bringing it in tomorrow morning instead. You're right, it'll work out!

Thanks! She admitted it just as much to me too D: In hindsight it might be she was trying to play off sympathy for her knee and sucker me in because I was pretty dazed by the accident. Hopefully, things (and my back) will all work out for the better.
