I realised it's Potter week when I find my younger brother lying on my mother's bed (the one with the really comfy memory foam), re-reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. When I walked into the room, he quickly buried his nose further into the novel, and tried to ignore my giggling. Ten minutes later when he left the room sans book, I peeked inside and saw that the book was left to sprawl on the floor. Heh. Nerd.

Anyway, who else is pumped for the movie tomorrow? It seems like I'm the only one in my circle of friends in LA who is. Bah, who cares for them? I'll go watch it myself and revel in the first fandom I really cared about. Besides, that way no one will care that my old lady self will be lusting after Tom Felton in the cinema. He grew up nicely, didn't he?

Special thanks to the awesome people who I spent the weekend with (no, not in *that* way you pervs) for making it a joy to get away from the sick bed to hang out and laugh like a loon. I'm quite frightened of what will happen this crucial week before Christmas because of the way my company's been futzing around with customer orders. Luckily I have plenty of Merlin fics to read (send more my way bakarini!) and a few DC fics to write as well. The one thing I want to do however, is cross off an item on my flist's wishlists. Sorry, no fucklists -- I don't think you'd enjoy having a celebrity of choice in the mail. Trust me, it gets real messy with body parts and the like.

Anyhow, while I'm off hunting for more info on what people would really like why not take a gander at my very short list?
